That's a Wrap! And... a Reminder for a Stretch Goal!

Hey there, everyone! Hope you all have your towel!
You've really blown us out of the water with this campaign. This was a big passion project for us and even though we weren't sure how it would work out, y'all have reassured us tremendously. In the final hours, you folks pushed our total raised past $1.15mil! We could not be more excited!
Also, Happy Pride! From all of us at Wraithmarked to you and yours. <3
Reminder! We added 60 days to the project delivery date due to the $750k Slipcase Upgrade Stretch Goal being crossed. For more information regarding that Update, please check out our $750k Update HERE! This means that the new projected fulfillment month will be November 2027. While the fulfillment date has been moved to accommodate this Stretch Goal, we don't anticipate needing those additional days as we hope to have this project totally fulfilled before or around our original estimate (September 2027).
MOVING FORWARD...
Here is what you can expect in the coming weeks and months.
First, Kickstarter will begin processing payments for your pledges. That will take approximately 2 weeks. If you did not use Pledge Over Time, this will be the full amount of your pledge. If you opted to use Pledge Over Time, this will be the first 1/3rd of your total pledge.
If you opted OUT for Pledge Over Time, you will receive your survey on or around June 22nd. If you opted IN for Pledge Over Time, your second payment will be on or around July 5th, followed by your third and final payment on or around August 5th.
Once the final payment has been made for Pay Over Time backers, we will send out all remaining surveys to the email addresses you have attached to your Kickstarter account. We expect this to occur by or around August 5th.
Answer your survey questions and grab any extra Add-Ons you want. For those of you asking how to make your tier selections, you'll do that here. Due to the shipping beta test, shipping will be charged at this time.
As we get all of the products made, you can expect to see an update from us 1-2 times a month. So stay tuned here for all the latest!
Once we have the products and are ready to start fulfillment, we will post an update and send an email giving everyone 48 hours to update their addresses if needed. Once that window closes, you will not be able to update your address yourself and will need to contact us directly to make those changes.
With addresses locked, we will start packing and shipping. This final step will take some time. We appreciate your patience. <3
As a reminder, if you have questions about the Pledge Over Time feature, you can visit this help center article for more information or reach out to Kickstarter’s support team here.
Please be aware that the times mentioned above are estimates. We try to stick to them as much as possible, but sometimes it takes an extra day or two to move on to the next phase of the process.
TO REITERATE THE SHIPPING BETA TEST...
We've gotten a range of feedback over the last year about how to make our books more accessible to everyone, and one of the most common places we hear we could make a simple change is by charging shipping later, so there's an additional opportunity to split the product costs.
All shipping and handling fees will be processed on BackerKit when you fill out your backer survey, which will be sent out 2-3 weeks after the campaign ends.
THIS WILL NOT CHANGE THE SHIPPING COST. We have outlined what every item's shipping will be post-campaign below so you can account for it immediately!
GETTING SUPPORT...
Finally, if you require assistance with your pledge or have another question that does not pertain to Pledge Over Time, please send an email to [email protected]. We’re open Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm EST and will be happy to help however we can (it usually takes 3 to 5 business days to get back to you, but we do answer all tickets in need of a response).
Talk soon, and thank you all!

This has been SUCH a blast! Thank you all again, enjoy the weekend, and we'll be back next week after some MUCH needed R&R!

1 MILLIOOOOOOOOON! ALSO... Some small help for EU Backers concerned about the new shipping fees!

FIRST! CONGRAAAAAAATTS TO AAAAAAAALLLLLL!
$1 MILLION raised! Holy $%*& people! That is WILD, and we are SO happy to hit this milestone with you guys! With this Stretch Goal down, we're also going to be including Donato's amazing initial sketch pieces as additional end sheets, so you'll be able to flip back and forth to see not only the finished work, but also where it started out!
Onwards! What are the chances for cracking $1.25mil by the end of the campaign now?? Not super high BUT... not zero either! Let's goooooo!
EU BACKERS! REGARDING THE NEW SHIPPING FEES.
We are actively looking into ways to ease this burden, including finding a shipping partner inside the EU (which would ultimately also ease the VAT burden as well)! Since there's no guarantee that we'll have that in place by the time this ships next year though, for the time being we're gonna take a simple step we can take:
If we don't managed to set up an EU fulfillment partner before we charge for shipping, all EU Backers who's rewards include at least one book will find their shipping charges reduced by a flat $2 USD when we charge shipping.
We are aware this doesn't cover everything. $2 USD does not equal 2€ at current conversions, and if you get more than one parcel (we try to avoid this, but it's not always possible to) there would be more than one charge of 2€. We unfortunately can't swallow all these unexpected charges, I'm sorry.
However we can help ease the surprise burden, which is what we're going to try to do here.
Like I said, we're looking into better solutions, so hopefully this is ALL moot, but just in case we don't manage it we wanted to at least but this small measure in place to help out a little bit.
Cheers all, thanks again for $1 MILLION (aaahhhhHHHH!)... And we'll talk soon!

$900k Down! And Let's Help Get a New Bookstore Off the Ground! Also... Dog Tax!

$900,000 USD REACHED!
While there's no Stretch Goal at this stage to unlock, it's still a HUGE number! Big congratulations, and even BIGGER 'Thank you!!!!' from the team! This is such a wild ride to be a part of, and you guys have been AWESOME!
One step closer to that $1mil next Stretch Goal, too!
Now... a project worth checking out!
WE'RE MATCHING UP TO $1000 USD TO HELP FEATHERHEART BOOKS GET UP AND GOING!
Also... DOG!
Wraithmarked, like a lot of the book community, has a special place in our heart for independent bookstores, so we thought we'd use this Update to shout out a new bookstore that could use a leg up for those interested!
Featherheart Books will be the first of its kind in Tokyo: an independent bookstore where you can both buy & borrow English and other foreign language books across all genres. They want to make books that are diverse and informed by the world around us available in Japan!
They are asking for help to open a brick-and-mortar store, a safe space where their community can gather around their favourite books and a home for your next great read. To do this, they must raise a minimum of ¥5,000,000 (≈USD 31,400), with a stretch goal of ¥10,000,000 (≈USD 62,700).
From now until the end of their campaign, Wraithmarked will be doing a dollar-for-dollar match for any pledge produced by Hitchhiker's Guide supporters, up to a total of $1000 USD total pledge!
Translation: If you guys manage to pledge at least $1000 USD to their campaign before the end of the project (which happens soon), we'll match that up to another $1000! Meaning we could collectively get Minami at least $2000 USD between us!
Ao, co-founder of Featherheart, gives you all a big thank you, and promises only the BEST books will be allowed on the shelves!
... At least the ones she can reach.
Happy Towel Day!

As the story goes, Douglas Adams continuously lost his beach towel when traveling. He just couldn't keep track of it. Its quite ironic to us that as a hitchhiker himself, long ago, his satirical view of the world even applied to himself. Maybe if he could keep track of his towel, now that'd be quite the guy.
"... a towel has immense psychological value. For some reason, if a strag (strag: nonhitchhiker) discovers that a hitchhiker has his towel with him, he will automatically assume that he is also in possession of a toothbrush, washcloth, soap, tin of biscuits, flask, compass, map, ball of string, gnat spray, wet-weather gear, space suit etc., etc. Furthermore, the strag will then happily lend the hitchhiker any of these or a dozen other items that the hitchhiker might accidentally have "lost". What the strag will think is that any man who can hitch the length and breadth of the galaxy, rough it, slum it, struggle against terrible odds, win through, and still knows where his towel is, is clearly a man to be reckoned with."
Anyone you know ever get a hand on one of the original 'official' Hitchhikers Towels? I think it would be a lovely thing to hang up at the office here...
Happy Towel Day!
I will leave you with a wonderful youtube video with audio by Douglas Adams himself to celebrate.
